بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ Matsuyama is the capital city in Ehime Prefecture and one of the major cities in Shikoku instead of Tokushima (Tokushima Pref.), Kochi (Kochi Pref.) and Takamatsu (Kagawa). Matsuyama has population of about 520,000 people with density of 1,205/km2. This city is famously known for its onsen (温泉、hot spring in Japanese) especially Dogo Onsen (道後 温泉), believed to be the oldest hot spring bath house in Japan despite of more other historical and cultural places. MICC was established by some Malaysian students together with Mr. Abu Mahdy Sulaiman Hamanaka in the year of 1981.  MICC was held in August 1981 by Yunos, an international student from Pahang, Malaysia, and Japanese Muslim  Mr. Abu Mahdy Sulaiman Hamanaka  ( Rahimahullah ) from Matsuyama. Initially, there were only four or five Malaysian students, and they gathered at Yunus's house in Tarumi, Malaysia, and held a study session called "Usura" every Saturday night. After Mr. Yuno...

We would like to thank Brother Ruslan La Ane for his dedication and contribution to MICC over the years and congratulate Brother Fadli Irsyad as the new representation of Matsuyama Islamic Community Center.   Assalamualaikum wr. wb. Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, Thank you for attending the annual general meeting of MICC. As you know, the meeting was held in MICC, 31st March 2018 at 18.40 (after Maghrib). In the meeting, we had elected the new president of MICC (2018-2019). For your information, brother  Rizwan Zulkefly  was elected by the members who joined the meeting as the new president of MICC (2018-2019). Then, the new president of MICC will appoint the coordinators of each department for the upcoming tenure (2018-2019). Herewith, we would like to give our deepest thanks for everyone especially for the previous president and coordinators of each department of MICC (2017-2018) who had successfully served the community. We look forward to continuing to work with the new president and coordinators of each department in the coming year. Still 2 weeks for preparations. Wish all, not only kids but also parents, committees, and others will participate in this competition.
